They showed a lot of love for Nourish Up.
Now it’s time to show a little back for Network Build Grow — otherwise known as NBG! Let’s hear it for this amazing organization with a primary focus on helping community members achieve small business success. NBG does this by providing access to an active and engaged network of peer business owners and personal and professional growth opportunities.
Giving back to the community through support of local non-profit agencies is also a huge priority. NBG does so through its G.I.V.E. initiative:
- Generosity.
- Inviting.
- Volunteering.
- Engaging.
Nourish Up reaped the rewards of this service-mindedness when NBG selected us as its Non-Profit Spotlight for the first quarter of 2024.
We celebrated our new brand and shared other exciting updates at NBG Signature Events, featuring networking exercises and guest speakers in January, February, and March. Then on a rainy Saturday morning, a team of 19 volunteers came to the warehouse to pack a whopping 546 of our 7-day boxes. “It’s important to partner with businesses of all sizes,” says Nourish Up CEO Tina Postel. “We cannot do this mission-driven work without our volunteers. But those who own their own business just may know a little more first-hand the importance of collaboration and sweat equity.”
This volunteer day provided 11,466 meals for our neighbors in Charlotte.
“By being a part of the G.I.V.E. Non-Profit Service Group, members volunteer time and resources to help make these service days and projects happen,” says NBG founder and Nourish Up partner Melissa Taylor.

Thank you, NBG, for shining a light on our work at Nourish Up. This is an important partnership.
