Nourish Up has had quite a historic start to 2024. Not only did we announce our exciting rebrand this January, but in April, we also turned the page to quite a new chapter.
An exciting new chapter
It cannot be said enough, our mission is steadfast: To nourish our neighbors with food and compassion.
In addition to unveiling the Nourish Up brand in January, our team moved into its new location at the Hunger Hub in early April. While we are still being renovated and under construction, all operations and administrative offices have moved to 901 Carrier Drive.
We celebrated this new chapter with staff and Board members on Monday morning, April 8. Our meals volunteers reported for duty that same morning. Grocery volunteers on Tuesday. Warehouse volunteers on Wednesday.
We did not miss a beat.
This space defines promise in action. The people deliver it.
“Nourish Up” may be a new set of terms accompanied by brightly colored icons to describe what we do, but why we do it? Who we do it for?
Those things remain unchanged.
The rebranding propels our mission into a time and place that needs us to come together stronger and more unified than ever before. To bring dignity to those in need. To feed our community.
Change is big. Change is not easy. We know this because we have experienced change alongside you — our neighbors, our volunteers, our donors. Our community.
Thank you for helping us spread the word about our new name, our new home, and the important story behind it. Thank you for your unwavering support.
Join us for our Grand Opening on June 21, and stay tuned for more exciting details to come!
Plan to visit and take a tour soon. And volunteer. Attend and/or sponsor our May 22 Luncheon of Hope.
Simply said, thank you.
We cannot nourish our neighbors without neighbors like you.
CEO Tina Postel closed our celebration with a special toast honoring our deep history of serving our neighbors in need. This new Hunger Hub allows us to serve even more. Our work won’t be done until everyone has access to nutritious food that we all deserve.
“It was a momentous occasion for sure. Since our merger in May of 2021, we have meticulously been planning for the day when we could comfortably work together under one roof and collaborate with our community effectively,” she said. “The soft opening of this building today marks day one of that bright vision where we accept no excuses for our neighbors going hungry.”
